Funding of the project

The basic expenses of a volunteer go up to 35.000 CHF (24.400 €) per year, including:
– Allowance for daily life: 9.000 CHF – Social Security: 6.000 CHF – Flight, visa and administration: 2.000 CHF – Allowance and reintegration after return: 6.000 CHF – Local Coordination: 5.000 CHF – Eirene-Suisse Management: 7.000 CHF ** these numbers are different when it s a coupleThe financing of these basic expenses are divided into:
75%: Swiss confederation (DDC) 25%: Eirene-SuisseDonations collected by Mina and Thierry:
50%: used for the 25% of ‘Eirene’ finacement.
50%: kept in reserve. Can be used by the volunteers for unforeseen expenditure or for the support for a local project. This money can only be freed by the common agreement of the volunteers and Eirene-Suisse.
